Our Story

Reputation Communications was established in 2009 to provide reputation management services to high net worth families, law firms, investigative agencies and multinational financial companies.

Today we are known as a trusted, nonpartisan online reputation management resource for CEOs, business leaders, entrepreneurs, rising stars, VIPs and their organizations. We have served luxury brands, news-making public figures, philanthropists, Forbes 400 and Forbes 500 clients, entertainment industry icons, FinTech leaders, tech founders, venture capitalists and others.

Our Founder

CEO Shannon M. Wilkinson is a nationally recognized expert in digital reputation management and an expert witness for legal cases related to reputation issues. As a former commentator for The Wall Street Journal, her analysis of how leading corporations are managing their crises focused on Equifax, NBC, Ohio State University, Purdue Pharma, Sanofi, UBER, and others. She has been quoted in Consumer Reports, Huffington Post, USA Today and the NBC Today Show.

She leads a team of U.S.-based content creators, digital designers, IT and SEO specialists and social media managers to perform client work. Reputation Communications partners with CC:S to develop optimized, SEO-rich personal branding campaigns, a hallmark of our work.

Advisory Board

Scott B. Alswang is a world-traveled security expert who has provided protection services for US Presidents, heads of state, dignitaries, and ongoing, high profile global executives and prominent individuals.

Scott served for 20 years in the United States Secret Service. He protected every U.S. President from Ronald Reagan to George W. Bush. Scott also conducted protective advances for every major foreign head of state that visited the United States of America.

Don Aviv is the President of Interfor International, one of the world’s leading corporate intelligence firms. He is a regular contributor to a variety of publications on a variety of foreign policy and security matters, serves as the Vice Chairman of the ASIS International Security Services Council, and he sits on numerous corporate boards. He spoke with us on the topic of “Due Diligence” verifications in February 2019.

David Niccolini is the COO of Evidencity, a platform for records retrieval and local insight in over 160 countries around the world. Prior to joining Evidencity, Mr. Niccolini co-founded TorchStone in 2010. During his tenure, the company won numerous awards and was featured in Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, CNN and other media outlets. David has directed research, security, consulting, and investigative operations across six continents on behalf of multinational corporations, families, non-governmental organizations, and U.S. government clients.

Rena Paul is the co-founder of Alcalaw LLP, a women-founded law firm that represents companies, schools and individuals in crisis, particularly those involving sexual misconduct and other sensitive matters.  As a former federal and state prosecutor, Rena has 15 years of private and public sector experience in investigations, litigation and appellate work.  A champion for well-being in law, Rena trains prosecutors across the country on trauma-informed lawyering and attorney well-being.  Rena is an Adjunct Professor at Brooklyn Law School.  She received her JD cum laude from Brooklyn Law School and a BA from Emory University.

Christine Rafin, Esq. specializes in Internet, communications and media law. She is  General Counsel – Media,  a360 Media, LLC (formerly American Media, Inc.) in New York. Previously she was a partner at a New York City law firm, focusing on commercial and civil litigation along with Internet, data privacy and security law, and other areas. She has authored articles such as “ An Attorney’s Advice for Removing Negative, Defamatory and Infringing Material from the Internet.”

Jed Weiner is Head of Corporate Practice at Mei & Mark LLP. He advises emerging and seasoned companies and investors in corporate finance transactions, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, board matters, corporate governance, executive compensation, management equity, restructuring, corporate compliance, and commercial transactions. He is the founder of grIP Venture Studio, a world-class organization of experienced professional and sector specialists who advise venture capital investors and emerging companies on comprehensive growth and fundraising strategies. grIP serves as its clients’ deep bench.
